STEP 2: DI Water Rinse – Flushes alkaline residues to prevent cross-contamination of subsequent process baths.
STEP 3: Acid Activation & Micro Etch – Removes surface oxides and tarnish, activates substrate for strong plating adhesion.
STEP 4: DI Water Rinse – Eliminates acid carry-over, stabilizes surface pH for consistent plating quality.
STEP 5: Nickel Strike Plating (Optional) – Deposits a thin intermediate layer to enhance coating bonding and prevent peeling.
STEP 6: Bright Nickel Plating (Core Process) – Electro-deposits uniform, mirror-bright, high-hardness nickel coating via controlled current and temperature.
STEP 7: Post-Plating DI Rinse – Removes residual plating solution and brightener to avoid surface stains and discoloration.
STEP 8: Neutralization Rinse – Neutralizes residual acid, stabilizes coating and improves long-term tarnish resistance.
STEP 9: Hot Air Drying – Completely removes surface moisture without damaging the bright nickel finish.
STEP 10: Final Quality Inspection – Checks appearance, thickness, hardness, adhesion and corrosion resistance for qualified finished parts.
